About America's Beer Report

Mission Statement

Create an enlightening and informative website dedicated to the celebration of beer.  This is for the benefit of the American people so that they can learn and appreciate the art of craft beer from around the world.

About

America’s Beer Report started as an idea years ago while drinking at a college party.  We said too bad there isn’t a website or something for beer reviews so we didn’t have to take a chance every time we try something new. After looking into it we found many websites that claimed to do this, however reviews proved to be random.  Not only was there no consistency, but it was about as dry to read as the service manual for a leaf blower.  One would see reviews like the following:

This is my favorite beer. Love the artwork, love the taste! I’ve managed to have it on draft at three different occasions in Terre Haute Indiana. Also picked up 2 cases at Dark Lord day 2013!”

Oh great!!! Maybe you like the taste of peacocks too because their tails are beautiful and rival rainbows. If you like reviews like that than this isn’t the website for you. We want to be informative yet entertaining at the same time.

Anyway, back to the college party, we said we have to talk about this more and make it happen! So, naturally, like every American college student we procrastinated and did nothing about the idea for 5 years.  With less term papers and a slightly grim outlook on life in the “real world,” motivation was restored!  That’s about it… there is no cinderella story here.  We don’t claim to be super tasters, foodies, comedians, or fantastic writers.  We are just a few guys who like beer and want to share it.  Cheers!
